Kufri, Shimla is located at an elevation of 9000 ft. The beauty of the mountains and its surroundings is mind blowing that it can leave a person spell bound. The entire range of snow peaks is visible right from Badrinath in UP up to Pir Panjal in Kashmir. Initially Kufri was just a pond where travelers used to rest and enjoy for a while. Later it was fully developed into a tourist spot with many ice games made available here. Resorts also came up and it became a really good destination to spend time at.

The nearest Airport is Shimla and takes 1hr from Delhi to reach. From Shimla airport Kufri is at a distance of 30kms.
By road one can take the GT Highway and a bypass before Ambala that takes you directly to Shimla. From here Kufri is at a distance of 20kms only.
By rail there is a broad gauge railway line till Kalka and after that one can take the joy ride in the mountains through other rails.
