Mountain resort khali spread over 25 acres of virgin forests of Binsar reserve the resort was established by a Britisher in the year 1875. Who was settled here after his service.
The first prime minister of India Pt.Jawahar Lal Nehru and his family spent some time here. Mountain Resort serves only vegetarian food because the location of this resort is inside the forest reserve. Resort offers eight two bed room cottages with all daily uses amenities.

- Library The resort has a big Library with the collection of five thousand books in many languages like Hindi, Englisg, Bengali, Tamil.Urdu, Gujrati, Sanskrit and Many more, the person who is fond of reading books can easily spend his time here.
- Games: Table Tennis, Badminton Court, Lawn Tennis and other indoor games, For children swings and a small play ground is also available.
Walk in Jungle:
Oak, pine cedar, Rhododendrons, You can see all of them if you go for jungle walk.
Bird watching:
If you are fond of watching birds than it is possible here all you need keen eye, birds like wood pecker, peackok, can be seen.

The Summit of Binsar is almost at the height of 8000 feet and the people can have a good view of the snow-clad mountains. On a clear day, the peaks visible include Badrinath, Gangotri, Neelkanth, Kedarnath, Shivling, Nanda Devi, Trishul, etc.
