To put in simple words, DONOT go near this property if you are traveling with kids. The things you will see in this resort are:
1) Super Dirty Rooms,
2) Mosquitoes (a lot of them),
3) Lizards in and around your room,
4) Dirty and secluded so called swimming pool,
5) Not much to venture around the property,
The good things are:
1) Courteus staff,
2) Just above avg meal quality,
3) The heritage feel inside the fort,
It can be a very good heritage property if given the maintenance it truly deserves. Bad job done by the owners/royal family.
We went on the brand value of Leisure Hotels. Came to know that
Leisure Hotels only markets the property and does not own any stake in the property. Hence, they donot and cannot interfere in the maintenance of the resort. I will think twice now while going to any of the Leisure Hotels property in future. From my side, Fort Unchagoan is a strict NO NO.
