Chail is a quiet and serene hill station at a very high altitude. It’s not like the other hill stations which are generally crowded with tourists. The place is really very beautiful and has good accommodation facility varying from budget hotels to luxurious ones.
The famous places around are the Chail Cricket Ground which is the highest cricket ground in the world. Besides this a visit to the famous Chail Palace is a must It has the king size spacious rooms and is now been turned into a hotel with all the luxuries and also a section with few video games for the children.
Chail is at a distance of 45kms from Shimla and is well connected via road.
The place has a small river flowing nearby which is a good picnic spot.
