Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve is set amongst the Vindhyan Hills of Madhya Pradesh. History and Nature meet here asan ancient fort straddles the park.
This terrain of rocky hills rising sharply from waterlogged grasslands and densely forested valleys is mainly covered with Bamboo and Sal Trees.
This is the famous tiger country where per sq km density of tigers is considered to be one of the higest in India.Bandhavgarh is also home to Leopard, Spotted Deer, Sambar, Indian Wild Dog in addition to over 200 species of Birds, such as Drogons, Orioles, Flycatchers, Storks Eagles etc…
