Kasar Devi: The snow-Caped peaks of the Himalayas is visible from the temple premises. The temple at the north of the city is on the kashyapHill. It is mentioned in the Puranas that the goddess Durga took the form of kaushiki here to kill the demons Shumbha and Nishumbha. It is believed to be the place of enlightenment of Swami Vivekananda and attracts tourists from around the world.
Udyochandeswar: The beautiful Shiva temple, the presiding deity of the Nanda Devi Sanctuary region is the main attraction here.
Deer Park: At a distance of 3 Kms. Set admits the idyllic settings, it is popular tourist spot.
Chitai Temple: At a Distance of 8 Kms.from the city, this temple is most revered by the people of thearea. Beautiful bells adorn the temple. The Chimes can be heard from a long Distance. Chitai temple is the abode of Lord Golla, the god of Justice.
